I am trying not to have hatred in my heart.
I will say that Bill Barr was the alpha and the omega of Epstein. He got Epstein started on his career, and Epstein was in Barr's custody when he died.
I was being hyperbolic. I don't "hate" anyone. It's too much work. In truth, I think Barr's negligence and complicitness in trumps evil escapades will come back to haunt him. He's going to go down in history as a "John Mitchell" - Nixon's, convicted former AG/Henchman.
I am amazed the right wing does not hate Barr. He is the Attorney General that ordered Ruby Ridge to happen, and the Attorney General the initiated Waco.

The FBI requested the stuff via subpoena earlier, in vain. As to whether the Toadstool knew they were coming on Monday, who knows. One of his attorneys was on scene with the FBI so obviously there was *some* advanced notice. That doesn't negate the fact that #TRE45ON was in possession of classified material that he refused to surrender to its proper caretakers. I suspect that one of his attorneys leaked the existence and nature of the seized materials to the government. If the attorneys knew of its illegal presence but did nothing, they face sanctions and even disbarment.

He thinks he's going to slide out of this one, like he has everything else. Unless I'm missing something, the law is pretty clear on stealing national secrets. We saw the list of stuff he took. He took our property and compromised our national security. How many thousands of people have rolled through Mar-A-Lago with our nuclear weapons secrets being stored in a bedroom closet?

So say we all. To sum up, #TRE45ON was aware of the possession of the documents in his personal residence. He refused to surrender them, necessitating a search and seizure of them by the authorities. He can claim he declassified them till the cows come home. But w/o the necessary procedures being followed, and proof, that claim is meaningless.
I hope he goes to prison for this. For sure if you or I had done the same thing, we'd never see the light of day again. Why is he any different?
