The left wants to control thought, information, and speech. They deny it, of course, but anyone who can think can see it. The reason their President is failing is because of all you racist, redneck, Christian, racist, homophobes. It's time you all learned that in your government indoctrination centers and if one of their indoctrinators is found to have an indenpendent thought, he must be dealt with severely and quickly.

Americans need to wake up and take a good long look at what is happening to our country. We can stop these sick bastards, but we need to stand up to them and shove it right back in their faces.

unbelievable....so certain members of society have less rights because of their profession. there is no point in even trying to explain to you the idiocy of such thinking, the fact you thought it in the first place shows you're beyond help or logic.

you are the fool here. just because you're a teacher does not mean you give up your right to speech while not on the job. being a teacher is not being in the military. your claim about living outside civilized society is hilarious. what kind of civil society takes away the right of someone to speak just because they are teacher?

To answer the question in your second paragraph, no one has taken away any one's rights to free speech. Society (your constitution I think) has GIVEN you the right to freely question and criticise your government and has also given you responsibilities to go with that 'right'. No one has the right to shout 'Fire' in a cinema (to use something of a cliche).

tell me what specific words in the 1st am. "GIVE" anything, let alone a right. does the amendment grant something or does it prohibit something?
