Tea Party Patriots Attack Family Who Lost Daughter And Grandchild (VIDEO)

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl5Jo0GnX-k"]YouTube- Midge Hough and the Chicago Tea Party Patriots[/ame]

A group called the Chicago Tea Party Patriots publicly heckled a grieving family and suggested that the couple fabricated their tragic story.
At a town hall held by Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) on Nov. 14,, Dan and Midge Hough spoke about how they believed the death of their daughter-in-law and her unborn child were caused, in part, by a lack of health insurance. Twenty-four-year old Jennifer was uninsured. According to her in-laws, she was not receiving regular prenatal care and was not properly treated when she got sick. She ended up in an emergency room with double pneumonia that developed into septic shock, had a heart attack, a brain bleed and a stroke. The baby died and Jennifer died a few weeks later.
Midge Hough was heckled by anti-reform crowd members. "You can laugh at me, that's okay," she said, crying. "But I lost two people, and I know you think that's funny, that's okay."

A local Tea Party organizer falsely claimed that the couple had made up the story and tried to justify the town hall behavior, according to the Southtown Star.
Catherina Wojtowicz, of Chicago's Mount Greenwood community, an organizer for a Tea Party splinter group, Chicago Tea Party Patriots, falsely claimed that the Houghs fabricated their story. In an e-mail, she called them operatives of President Barack Obama who "go from event to event and (cry) the same story." [...]
The audience, Wojtowicz later explained, was exasperated by stories of isolated tragedies that cloud debate over the health care bill itself.

OMG, the pufferton post..

the leftie tea baggies don't just laugh at people they make up these types of picture using a special needs baby...

watermark....you're intellectually dishonest....

when someone uses an appeal to emotion on something you don't agree with, you shout it down....just like you did with the lady who had breast cancer at 34....you disregarded it and called it a logical fallacy....

now you're condemning othesr for doing the same thing you do.....

:palm:

remember what they did to Kenneth Gladney the black man that the Seiu thugs beat the shit out of for protesting at a town hall meeting...this was their caring...

stevie.jpg

Only a moron like Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) would stoop so low as to bring a grieving family to a town hall meeting to politicize their lose..to use their lose to advance his political point of view borders on criminal........
and it looks to me that the entire crowd politely and quitely listened to her for the entire presentation.....

and its quite a stretch to say this womens lack of insurance was even remotely involved in her demise.....but then its just like the democrats to blame just about anyone or anything to advance their marxist views....

So...its just another watermark thread FAILURE

This is pure BS propaganda. There are clinics all over this country who will take these patients and charge them absolutely nothing.

the woman deserved it. Now maybe she realized she can't guilt people into supporting her political beliefs. dumb bitch.

Um... Families with Dependent Children and myriad other government programs that are already in effect could have even provided the health insurance she says she couldn't get.

People who support this kind of emotive BS without a thought at all as to whether it would reflect current reality should be thrown out of all Polling booths, then shot.

What is with the excuse-making on this thread?

Yikes...

im not making any excuses. She is trying to guilt people using the death of her daughter for political purposes. She's scum, I don't give a shit about her or her ugly stupid daughter.

Nobody is making excuses, we are simply heaping scorn on Watermark.

Well, I see meme saying "libs do it too," and others saying this is a clear set-up, and others saying that's it's nothing more than an appeal to emotion and sympathy.

I dunno - the tone is BS, regardless of the circumstances. It always has been. I don't know how people can defend that.

no I'm saying that you all always use people in your agendas and then if they are criticized this type of crap from the pufferpost appears..
just like when people are criticizing the Hugo Obama how it always comes back to his race..
it's a old trick that people are tired of and refuse to play..

Silliness, the attempt to play the emotions of others using "guilt politics" is disgusting as well as factually incorrect, there were many options available to this young woman that would have had her insured or simply taken care of.

It's just decorum; it's good manners. I was against the Iraq war, but if I'm at some rally & some mother gets up to support the war & starts crying about her son who died, I don't care how political or "set up" it is...I shut up & listen, and at least give her a bit of respect.

People are out of hand now. Civil discourse is becoming a thing of the past, and passive acceptance does nothing to strengthen it...

well were you saying people are out of hand when Bush was in office..we were then but if fell on deft ears..

the Democrat party always uses women and children in their ads, town halls, etc. so that they try to quilt and shame people into buying their crap..it is your party that should be ashamed for using people..just look where Cindy Sheehan is today..now they are using a nineteen year old kid, Levi Johnson to smear Sarah Palin...people are sick of it all...not what you want to hear but that is how it is..

I have never supported or defended people going over the bounds of decent civil discourse to make a point. I don't believe in violence; I don't believe in shouting people down. I don't think the ends justify the means.

I didn't think you do, nor do I..but people saw through the game that was being played on them and they reacted...not much more to it, but of course we get a special writeup on it about teabaggers and conservatives from the Hufferpost of all places how people are soooooo mean...

Well at least you stopped calling it a 'fetus' and finally have come to terms with the fact that it is indeed an unborn child and have properly referred to the "baby's death".
