WOMAN: When the Bush tax cuts took effect in 2003 the unemployment rate was 6.2 percent. Now, in the ninth year of those cuts, the unemployment rate is 9.2 percent, so where is the evidence that these cuts for the most affluent actually create jobs? [...]
(Audience applauds)
Tea-rorist HULTGREN: I think clearly the evidence, uh, well, let me say this. I get back to the stimulus, which was another thing which –
MAN: We want the tax cuts?
WOMAN: Where’s the evidence?
ANOTHER WOMAN: Where are the jobs?
Tea-rorist HULTGREN: Good question. Let’s keep goin’. We got three minutes.
(MULTIPLE AUDIENCE MEMBERS): No answer! [...]
Tea-rorist HULTGREN: I believe we’ve got a tax system that discourages productivity. We have to adjust that. It has to be flatter. [...] My evidence is Illinois being the number one job creator for Indiana, Iowa.
I quoted the wrong post above, I meant to quote the post that \\(\(\/)/)// talked about how bush was the worst in history which is clearly not the case
George Bush had a little thing called 9/11. You may have heard of it. The very fact he was able to have positive job growth in literally the worst time our nation has ever faced is a monumental achievement. Doubtful any dem would have been able to compete at the same level. They probably would have cut the military on 9/12 to hand out more food stamps.
Can someone be that ignorant of economics as to think that ONLY tax rates have an impact on employment....?
Clue for morons, idiots, imbeciles, and all the other low intelligence equivalents of modern liberal minds (oh, and you mindless infantile trolls, too): keeping taxes THE SAME is NOT the same thing as a tax CUT.
