I really don't understand how Superfreak could say I think it's impossible for blacks and whites to be friends...what does he think that I have in my white friends? And there is no requirement that anyone thinks like me to be my friend. How pedestrian. How naive. They simply can't stand being called on their shit.

It depends on the context. If I were to call a random black man 'boy' I would agree that is pejorative. But it most certainly is NOT pejorative when two friends call each other that or 'brother'. It is a term of endearment. Like I said, it may be hard for your generation to comprehend the FACT that this is the case with our generation and those younger than us. It is understandable given the environment you grew up in vs. the one we did. however, you are only showing how out of date you are by proclaiming that is demeaning to a black friend.

He did not say that white people in general cannot be friends with black people without being wannabe wiggas, he said that to Cawacko after Cawacko posted his ridiculous "my bros" post. That's exactly how Cawacko came off and he called him on it.

I believe that it's fine for him to say that black people who advocate for policies known to be generally harmful to the black population at large, are self-hating. I feel the same way about women who vote the conservative ticket.

seriuosly? you've been here long enough to have seen people slam webway and you still see a 'difference'?????

poets been here a month or two at best and until this week have not really noticed any racial tinges or sexual orientation references to the members posts. so when he comes out and starts calling me a racist because of my avatar, i'm gonna make him look stupid for it. It's not my fault that he revealed his true colors to me and everyone else here, so yes he's gonna get slammed. he can continue to be a racist all he wants and eventually we'll ignore him as well.
