Tax The Rich.

TAX THE POOR. Its only fair. Everyone needs to pay their fair share. The poor use our highways, public sidewalks, city parks, public schools,...They also depend on our military to keep them free as well. Time to pay up..... and shut the fuck up. The left wanted everybody to pay their fair share,.....so DO IT. Crack that wallet bitches. The bill is due.

You are a dummy.

The top 1% of income earners—those who earned more than $540,000—earned 21% of all U.S. income while paying 40% of all federal income taxes. The top 10% earned 48% of the income and paid 71% of federal income taxes.Mar 3, 2021

You can shove your income redistribution mierda.

I love the low IQ posters groaning at your accurate post.

Hello Nordberg,

A huge group of them inherited the money and have never created a job. The bankers bought up businesses and stripped them throwing people out of work. Your memes are way outdated. http://jiesworld.com/international_...mour Meats,Audi Motors AudioVox AutoZone, Inc.

I searched on a random company name from that list of American Companies in China. Steelcase.

Guess what came up?

Steelcase: Plant closings, job cuts needed to cope with excess capacity even as orders increase

"The company today announced plans to shut down three factories, including its Kentwood East seating plant, and move the work to Mexico. About 750 jobs will be eliminated, including 400 in Kentwood.

“We continue to have excess manufacturing capacity so our space continues to exceed the need.”said Jeanine Holquist, Steelcase spokeswoman. “There remains pressure on the company to reduce costs.”

Closing plants and trimming its work force will save the Grand Rapids-based company $35 million annually after it spends $45 million to pay for the restructuring, Holquist said."

Yeah. The super-rich who make tons of money off eliminating American jobs as Trump was in office need to be paying a heck of a lot more in taxes to support government programs to help America.

Super-rich get richer by shafting American workers:

"Katerra, a Silicon Valley startup backed by SoftBank, has closed a large factory in Phoenix, weeks after one of its co-founders left the firm.

The Menlo Park–based firm, which is valued at more than $4 billion, says it uses tech to deliver construction projects inexpensively. But it has a history of delaying or abandoning projects and in recent months has laid off hundreds of employees.

The Phoenix factory, which was the company’s first, had been used to prefabricate building components for Katerra’s construction projects. In an email sent to staff Tuesday and obtained by The Real Deal, Katerra’s CEO Michael Marks wrote that the factory would close at the end of the month and its employees would be let go."

At some point they put up the money to start a business and made something of it, now they supply jobs. Stop being a victim, and a beggar, get a job!

Do you think that describe the wealthy? Wrong. They inherited it. At least 25 percent are living off what someone in the past did. However, the others like Zuckerberg should pay taxes. Highly profitable corporations should pay. They certainly get the most value out of our commons.
Teddy Roosevelt warned us about the wealthy accumulating generational wealth. He said that wealth is diffrent in kind than what a gy\uy with a good idea makes. He saw it as a threat to the American system. He was prophetic. The super rich are pulling strings in the dark and they always win.

Well you have a very entitled, selfish outlook on life. You simply want to punish the successful, and rewards the lazy!!!!

Indeed.

Everyone should pay their fair share.

Tax the poor.

It’s only fair.

If you inherited wealth, would you reject it?

A family that inherits wealth has as much right to it as someone who works for it.

The poor pay no federal or state income taxes.

They receive money with the low income tax credit.

Everyone must pay their fair share.

It’s only fair.

Teddy also said this:

Assimilation in America.

As expressed by President Theodore Roosevelt

In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.
But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. If he tries to separate from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns out people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polygot boarding house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
— from a January 3, 1919, letter to the President of the American Defense Society, in Theodore Roosevelt and His Time Shown in His Own Letters, Vol. II (edited by Joseph Bucklin Bishop; published by Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1920)

Republicans are protecting the super-rich from increased taxes by threatening to default on the national debt and totally screw the whole economy.

Dire consequences are proposed by Republicans in order to prevent raising taxes on the super-rich.

The debt now is comparable the the debt after WWII.

What did we do then?

We taxed the super-rich more.

We paid the debt down, built the entire interstate highway system, bridges and all, from scratch, built hospitals and airports, and we embarked on the space race, creating and funding NASA to put men on the moon and more.

And THAT was a great time for America.

While we were doing all that good stuff and paying down the national debt, we also paid for the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

And we STILL paid down the debt on TOP of all that.

And all of that was possible because of one reason.

Because we taxed the super-rich more.

Everyone should pay their fair share,

Tax the poor.

It’s only fair.

If we do not tax the super-rich more, we will not be able to pay our existing debt, much less do anything new to make America greater.

Having the poor pay more of what they need just to scrape by, while letting the rich keep more of what they'll never be able to spend doesn't sound fair to me or anyone else with a working conscience.

That's some prince John/sheriff of Nottingham shit.

Think of the federal government as an individual, with owed debt that payments need to be made on, and also having income and expenses.

OK?

Cool.

Most individuals pretty much have to accept whatever their income is.

But America is not really an individual. America is a nation. That gives America a huge advantage. America has the power to raise our own income.

Raising income makes it possible to pay on existing debt, and afford badly needed new stuff.

How do we raise our income?

Simple!

TAX THE RICH MORE.

At some point they put up the money to start a business and made something of it

No, they don't do that.

Business investment declined following the 2017 Tax Cut.
