Tax The Rich.

AOC is right, once again.

Occupy Wall Street was right.

It is time for the super-rich to finally pay their fair share.

And THAT is how the SO NEEDED $3.5 Trillion economic plan gets paid for.

Stop protecting the billionaires.

Believe me. They do not need your help. They will be just fine.

And we SO need this.

Considering the wealth and income disparity, it's the fair thing to do.

Biden said it best, not that I ever trip over myself to compliment him.

A fair progressive tax system is to mitigate poverty, not to eliminate the possibility of accruing wealth.

Even Warren's far more aggressive "wealth tax" wouldn't eliminate the possibility of accruing wealth.

It is time to use a bit more of America's great wealth to improve America and the world.

You are a dummy.

The top 1% of income earners—those who earned more than $540,000—earned 21% of all U.S. income while paying 40% of all federal income taxes. The top 10% earned 48% of the income and paid 71% of federal income taxes.Mar 3, 2021

You can shove your income redistribution mierda.

Earl, can you back up what you posted?????????????

The wealthy already pay almost all the taxes in this country. The poor pay none, Zero,..Nada. Time for them to FINALLY kick in their fair share and put some skin in the game. Either pony up the dough and pay your fair share instead of being simply a taker,....OR....work community service and actually earn those entitlements. Which would you prefer?

There is a thing about wealth. It is a level of wealth, above which the holders have nothing to worry about. They don't even have to work; and the rest of their life is all paid for.

That's because wealth is the result of working smart, or having enough money to work for you.

Once an individual has that level of wealth, they no longer have to work.

They can work if they choose to, but really, they don't have to.

If they work, it is all because that's just what they want to do.

The upper half of the country gets there after a lifetime of working. They can enjoy a nice retirement.

The lower half never gets there. They continue to work after retirement age because they have to.

A very few are born into great wealth, and are already at that magic threshold.

No matter how people make it to easy street, they should certainly be taxed their fair share. For most, it is a small percentage of their income. If they are taxed too much, it's not really fair for them to be paying so much of their income because it impacts their lifestyle.

But for the super-rich, heavy taxing does not impact their lifestyle one little bit. People who own jet airplanes, multiple mansions, expensive luxury homes, huge yachts, multiple country club memberships, tons of really pricey fine art, and still have disposable wealth worth more than all their homes and physical possessions? They are super-rich. Most of their money is invested in the market. It's really just play money to them. They can be taxed at a far higher rate and their lifestyles of opulence will not be affected at all. They will still be very rich. They will still want for nothing.

Those are the SUPER rich we need to tax more. Doing so will pay for this $3.5 Trillion economic plan that is so needed.

It is the right thing to do.

So...they own 99% of the wealth, but only pay 40% of the taxes.

That's balance?

Earl, this sounds like a special interest lobbying organization, which is very biased.

The National Taxpayers Union (NTU) is a conservative[4] taxpayers advocacy organization and taxpayers union

Your link claims the top 1%, who own 99% of the wealth in this country, only pay 40% of the taxes.

So they own 99%, but only pay 40%.

And not a single rich person is ever going to thank or acknowledge you for defending their wealth.

After WWII, the US debt was as high as it is now.

We taxed the super-rich at rates of over 90%.

!!! 93% !!!

And they were still richer than everybody else, lived lives of luxury.
