Tax cuts don't create jobs

Bush cut taxes in 2001 and again in 2003 and 2006....which enabled the economy to sustain an average of 5.3% unemployment rate from 2001 to 2008.....In spite of losing Congress to the Democrats, WTC attacks, and 2 wars......

GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME....

Maybe you've got it mixed up......Bush was the white guy......
this is the black guys promise...

You have a very low standard, especially with hindsight of what it gave us at the end of his term.

The anti American stuff. I just don't like it said by either side, as I explained. I just got to the point with you in my very crass way.

I was wasted when I wrote what I did. I thought he was ripping on Republicans so I said I agreed. I have no idea what this anti-American stuff is about.

You voted in a totally Democrat congress.....Bush warned of the coming Freddie and Fannie meltdown.......all Barney could say, everything is fine, they're in wonderful shape, there is no need for any regulation or oversight....well, now you know different don't you

You reap what you sow.

Eh, excuse me. Here's where the warning started. http://video.pbs.org/video/1302794657/

Alan Greenspan and all that "invisible hand" nonsense. Turns out the invisible hand was really the insidious hand. The sordid tale of deregulation, derivatives, capitalism run wild, greed and the whole despicable, sleazy affair kept under wraps while those nauseatingly, pestilential investment scum, playing with putrid financial instruments, brought the world to the edge of financial collapse.

We can blame it on Bush or Clinton or Obama or Barney Frank or Greenspan but the truth is it's the system. Even Greenspan, humiliated before Congress, admitted his idea of how the world worked, his philosophy, was faulty. He was wrong. Rampant, unrestrained capitalism, the "greed is good" mentality has caused many to suffer while benefiting comparatively very few.

When will people open their eyes?

Anti American, I hate that, they may be mis guided, but I doubt it is anti American. I won't be too harsh on you, you seem to be new.

The way I see it, Republicans do not represent anybody in middle America. They are the cronies of big business and the 1%. I have a problem with this. The government needs to pass extreme laws that punish any contact between government officials and big business very harshly. I would say life without parole in a 10X10 cell for the business end and the politician end. Doing this will make it very clear that staying clear means staying out of prison.

Workers in this country had rights until the republicans helped business relieve us of them. It's time for Republicans to be punished for what they have done.

CUT SPENDING.

Start with CEO's and their inflated salaries. Then removed the lifetime benefits politicians get. Then limit senate/congress terms to a maximum of two years. Then ... create laws that keep business and politics and RELIGION separate.... under penalty of life in prison.

Here is my favorite Alan Greenspan video of all time!
