They want other companies to see what happened and stick to business and avoid left wing virtue signaling. This needs to sting to make the point. You act like Bud and Target have some sort of right to peoples money. People can spend it wherever they choose.

While I agree, that's not what's being done. People are fomenting hate and bigotry with lies to force Americans to live, believe and act a specific way. IMO, that's wrong.
