Target Boycott is Working

Target, Much Like Bud Light, Is Stung by Culture Wars Retailer lowers profit goal for full year; executives say they will modify Pride Month promotion Much like the brewer of Bud Light, discovered the cost of getting caught in the middle of hot-button social issues in a politically divided U.S.

And, people say boycotts don't work. Tell that to AB/Bud Light and Target.

The question is when the boycott ends, will Bud Light still be a major player in producing beer? My thoughts are that it will end when some guy orders a beer & some other guy asks him if he's going to drink that beer without putting on a dress. And that could happen a long time from now.

I think the only way it would end is if AB comes out and publicly admit they made a mistake, hire a whole new team of people to promote it, and denounce what they did.

I highly doubt that will happen though so they are probably permanently damaged at this point.

A Bush family member has offered to buy Bud Light back from it's current owners.

I think the only wayWe have reached a point now, at which we understand you will not concede directly your error regarding being woke and attempting to force this upon us - so - now the point has come that "we" are going to now generationally teach our children and grandchildren TO NEVER PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCTS.

That is a forever direction. Generationally teaching our children this is a permanent loss to your stores and to your products...and you would be wise to accommodate to our demands regarding this situation. Back off, directly in writing and in actions and perhaps we will not begin this strategy.

Yours truly,

Your current majority and primary consumers. hire a whole new team of people to promote it, and denounce what they did.

Indeed.

The ad executive and her boss were fired (resigned before being fired).

They should bring the Bud girls and the Bud frogs back.

I would think that this trans freak debacle has been a total embarrassment to the Busch family.

They are worth nearly 18 billion dollars and could buy Bud Light back.

The current CEO is a boob who has cost the company 395 million dollars in US sales by going WOKE.

How about those beautiful Clydesdale horses?

They already tried that, it didn't work.

I think the Bud Light girls are their best bet.

I'm not trained in advertising however so I really don't know.

Essentially though I think they need to get away from the stigma of Bud Light being a gay person's drink to get their customer base back.

Nothing like super hot chics hanging over a guy drinking bud light to do that, horses aren't going to cut it.

Indeed, I saw the Clydesdale commercials. They were beautiful but a day late and a dollar short.

A full apology for promoting trans freaks would go a long way to restoring their fan base.

It's probably too late to rescue Bud Light but I agree, super hot chics hanging over a guy drinking bud light would help.

I don't drink beer but if I did...

Jonathan Goldsmith has played The Most Interesting Man In The World in a popular series of ads for Dos Equis. His catchphrase — "I don't always drink beer. But when I do, I prefer Dos Equis" — has worked its way into Internet culture.
