Tamir Rice's murderer, no job

Because if they had waited ... the officer would not have to live with fact that he just killed a child playing with a toy gun.

Yep and since they didn't know what action he was going to take, he can also live with the fact that he wasn't shot by a kid with a gun. :good4u:

Can you say 20/20??

20/20 ... the cop had bad judgement, lousy tactics, and an itchy trigger finger. There was nothing to fear, it was only a toy.

Of which you have nothing but FEELS about; but you do make a good Monday Morning Quarterback. :good4u:

But please show they knew it was a "toy".

Please show where they have to wait to find out the hard way that it is when someone is acting erratically with a gun.

It was a toy.

Please show where that was as known fact when Tamir was waving it around. Is your claim police should wait and find out the hard way when it's not?

Where was the orange tip required by federal law on toy and imitation guns? Why did Tamir take it off?

Sincere question ...

Is it tactically correct to pull the cruiser so close to an armed and dangerous suspect? Or should initial engagement by the police with a dangerous suspect, have been conducted from a more distant position?

Depends, if you think the person is being a threat to particular people one tactic is to put your car between yourself and innocent victims.

On the tape, you hear the officer describe him as 20 years old. The cop misidentified a child as an adult.

Watch the video I posted, the "kid" is pointing a very real looking gun at people, and when the cops pull up he reaches into his waistband.

It was not an active shooter situation.

Yes, the orange tips can be defeated by a child.

This was an exact replica of a colt .45 pistol 1911W "Target" model

The report was a man brandishing and threatening people with a gun.

The video I provided in this thread shows him doing just that, pointing it at people, and when the cops came he reached for it in his waistband.

BB guns do not have an orange tip/

You have the rest of your life to win a gun fight. How long do you think the police should have waited before guessing it was a bb gun?

Yep. a child playing, ... pointing a toy gun at passersby and never firing a single shot.

Toy gun?

which is the real gun, which is the "toy"?

I guess it depends on how big your balls are.

Obviously you have never been in a gun fight. it's not about balls, but about common sense and self preservation.

For example, I think all the cops involved in the eric garner murder should be convicted of murder.

I think in this case a "kid" made some really bad choices and anyone with common sense would have shot the "kid" the moment he reached into his waistband.

It doesn't have to be one.

It was a known fact he was waving around a gun. Why did he take off the orange tip?

Are you suggesting that the dispatcher did not state that they were responding to a 911 call regarding a person with a gun??

Do you even know the first rule or any rules, when it comes to firearms??

Are you suggesting that active shooter situations are the only ones that are dangerous; plus, you seem to be saying that the dispatcher didn't inform the responding officers that that a gun was being displayed??
