We've weathered these kinds of things in the past...and hopefully will weather this one also. If not, we become a dictatorship along the lines of Russia, China, Hungary...or worse.

At the time of the founding, most people did not give our Republic a chance of surviving. Maybe they were correct.

The more I learn about propaganda, the less I blame the people for not being able to process all the data coming at us. I saw physical altercations over masks because the media kept telling us that we're all going to die without them. People are at each other's throats over disinformation. Both parties have become puritans. I don't see that letting up anytime soon.
