Congressional Black Caucus supports white incumbent over black GOP opponent
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/congressional-black-caucus-sponsors-white-incumbent

The Black Congressional Caucus (BCC) that supposedly promotes issues and candidates that affect the Black community has endorsed a White male candidate over his Black female opponent!

So, the BCC apparently isn't about promoting Black issues and candidates but rather furthering Leftist Democrat candidates that will increase their political power...

I’m not sure how that’s racist but it does show when people on the left say we need more diversity in elected office what they really mean is we need more liberal P.O.C., not just more P.O.C.

You think it is racist to support someone who you agree with above someone with your same skin color? I am sorry, but that is the opposite of racist.

Bawahahaha, they support the candidate that best upholds their values.

This is like saying feminist need to support all females. It’s just ridiculous.

It is interesting that the CBC was founded as a non partisan organization. Clearly not the case today.

Self explanatory to me but when you are founded as a non partisan organization with one of your stated goals to get more black people elected and you don’t support certain black people because of their ideology and you don’t allow certain congressional black people into your group because of ideology that’s not really non partisan or increasing diversity (in numbers and/or thought).

So they HAVE to support black candidates, no matter what? Interesting. That's like saying they're not non partisan if they don't support Herschel Walker.

It is when the purpose of your caucus is to promote one race in politics over others which is the purpose of the BCC. But here you have the BCC promoting politics over race in direct opposition to their STATED mission.

Actually, this isn't something new. If a Black congressperson were a Republican and conservative the BCC would not allow them to caucus with them. You can't be an "Uncle Tom" and caucus with the radical Leftists in the BCC because it really isn't about race--as the BCC claims it is--so much as about pushing a particular set of political views.

So you have a problem with black people choosing the best candidate, regardless of race? Have you been smoking something? Would you please let us know what it is so we won't make the same mistake?

I know.. TA's crashing and burning on this one. Time to "tee it up" and come up with some more convincing anti-black propaganda.

Doesn't that prove they are political, not racist?
