And that’s a fail. The Trump plan had the stick. Also there’s simply no defense for leaving Bagram and withdrawing forces prior to evacuating citizens. Own it.

Maybe we should have packed up the equipment and flown it out before the troops.
Or maybe, we should have just sent it to a closely friendly country.
How bout flying out all the aircraft to a neighboring country.

As I well know, the Trump plan didn’t involve withdrawal first, evacuation second. It also had some ‘painful conditions’ attached to it if the Taliban or other terrorists got a little rowdy.

I'm basing this assumption on the reports , in the past, of Afghan army personnel turning their guns on allied soldiers.

It’s a lost cause. Biden’s numbers are tanking and he’s in clear danger of looking at sub-40 approval rating. And that’s IF nothing else happens. Don’t be surprised if he’s gone before the holidays.

Lets stay on topic my dear, just admit that you dont have a fucking clue as to the military equipment and planes. You are at best a big mouth broad without an original thought. As to the holidays, I am sure he will be on vacation for a few weeks. He surely deserves one.

Evacuate the equipment first, and by doing so, tell everyone that the US is leaving? The equipment is more important than people?

Once you negotiate with the reactionary forces you announce the democratic Government are your puppets. Doesn't matter how you run afterwards: your chums are buggered, obviously. And, yes, of course your chums were corrupt puppets - but a lot of Afghans were doing reasonably under them before the shambling Fatman destroyed it all. Why should the army fight just to cover their - and your escape?
 
By years end, Slow Joe will be handing the keys to the White House to the least qualified person in DC.

150,000 evacuated thus far. Never in history has an evacuation of this magnitude been accomplished.

Yes. Iraqi personnel too. We threw money at both parties, which they were happy to accept. They never forgot who their allegiances were to, though.

Evacuate people first, then withdraw. My grandkids could figure that one out.
