Taiwan extends military service

Taiwan IS Chinese- and universally recognized as such. I'm wondering how international law applies to a third party- the US- taking military action against a sovereign state- China- attempting to secure part of its own sovereign territory from a breakaway faction.
Agreed, Crimea is a very similar scenario- and the US didn't interfere directly, militarily.

Would you argue that the Sudetenland was German?

If it was recognized as such under international law then it would be.

Would you argue that Palestine was Israeli ?

I would argue that Palestine as such never existed. It was Trans-Jordan and a Jewish mandate state that existed post WW 1.

Despite your whacko beliefs Palestine is a UN-recognized state- so- unless you want to ignore international law and deny that, would you argue that Palestine was Israeli ?

You'll like this; from Thomas Salmon's 18th century ' A History of Palestine '
