Trump makes it OK to be racist in public. For many decades, the haters did not feel comfortable espousing racism in public. Now they are in your face all the time. That is what a racist president accomplished in a short time. His hate is bigger than blacks. It includes Latinos, Chinese, South Americans, women, and poor people. It evolved into Trump having his own police force that, under the guise of hunting immigrants, allows them to be ultra-violent to protesters, women, kids and anyone insufficiently pro-Trump.
