Supreme Court Ruling, 7 to 2 decision for the Colorado Baker.

I work in home improvements so I have worked for gay couples many times. Some of them can be tough to please. We had to try to remove stain from some freshly stained floors in the color the gay couple chose and then later said was too dark. Thankfully they were satisfied when we buffed around with laquer thinner and took off enough to turn a rag brown. Didn't change the color one bit but they thought it did. LOL
That was one experience with a gay couple to add to the 30 nasty hetero couples who were even harder to please.

As far as I'm aware, there is no recognized religious objection to performing home improvement services for difficult customers, regardless of sexual identity. :palm:

Why isn't sell ing a cake to obese people equally offensive? Why don't any of the other sinners bother him?
As should have been patently obvious to you by now, such commerce constitutes an unconscionable infringement upon of the sincere and deeply held religious beliefs of Mr. Phillips.

She's probably trying to say that the sin of gluttony, automatically means the obese are sinful.

Who knows? I didn't know such ignorance was possible. Some of these people seem to think they can argue a position that nobody took, in a case that they don't even understand.

"Why won't the baker make a cake for a gay couple?"...Jeebus. :palm:

Nobody in this case was told they couldn't buy a cake.

Maybe you should educate yourself on the points that were actually argued before the Court.

Or, you can keep "makin' # 2" with your irrelevant posts.

"Since when is obesity a sin?" U9 #106
Since "sin" was defined.

My biblical consultant advises me "sin" means to fall short of divine perfection.

And fyi, numero uno in the list of 7 deadly sins is gluttony, the behavior defect that produces obesity.

Two little points, if you please.

1 - Are you saying that you are equating all obesity to gluttony?
and
2 - Are you saying that all Christians hold to identical beliefs; because does that mean that all Muslims hold to the same beliefs?

Nope, but obese and a 10000 calorie wedding cake directly contributes to that sin, a wedding cake with two grooms doesn't.

That wasn't the question; because how do you know the "obese" person is buying it for themselves and that it might just be a present for someone else's wedding?

Freedom of religion means each person gets to decide for himself what is a sin. Maybe he does refuse to bake cakes for other sinners. For example, he probably will not bake cakes honoring pedophilia, but I don't think that is a protected class under CO law.

How do you know the a straight person wansnt buying it for gay friends, nonsensical argument.
