I was a mod on that board and this poster would drop a lengthy post every few months on this subject with links providing better details on the subject which was kind of a thing over there.

He went into great detail as to WHY the schools could not and should not be subject to these sorts of things BECAUSE the students were muslims and non-muslims are incapable. It tied in closely with why mosques in general operate in the dark.

This is going to be exciting come June/July, the Trump court is going to come out with decisions on abortion, guns, and now charter schools, and it wasn’t that long ago that conservatives told anyone who would listen that Judicial Restraint was one of their guiding principles. And then the Justices will come out questioning why the country thinks they are a joke

Can’t wait to see what happens when the Islamic school puts in for charter recognition and public funding

I don’t have any issues with Islamic schools receiving funds for each kid they educate as log as they reach documented educational goals

Doubtful, and I last I knew the Establishment Clause separated religion from Governmental institutions, and now you want the Government to fund religions schools?

No SCOTUS is just following the law rather than making the law. I can see how that might upset you but SCOTUS is a law interpreting body not a law making body . Congress is our law making body not SCOTUS

Nope I want the government to return tax payer dollars to taxpayers to use towards their kids education the best way they see fit as long as they use it on a school whose students meet educational goals
