Race is not a factor if you are using ability as a musician, actor, or artist or whether a person came from the South. Let's assume they are all white but another white has higher SAT/GPA but less musical ability.

Knowing your wacky political bend, I highly doubt you know anything about this case. WEhen you hear the SC ruling, youi will be screeching in a volley of threads and probably trying to blame Trump.

How? If students for the music department are chosen by music talent and not SAT/GPA scores the result is the best musicians. You are still going by merit, but more relevant merit than test scores and grades. The best schools would still have high SAT/GPA standards for those music students.
