The Democrats only have good qualified candidates!

We don't just select them because they hosted some cheezy TV show, and filed bankruptcy an amazing 6 times, or been married and ran around on all of his wives, or been accused of sexual misconduct by over 20 different women, or someone who has been indicted on committing over 91 federal crimes, someone who is guilty of putting together an insurrection to overthrow the government! A man who never ever held a public office, or even holding a real job before, before becoming the president.

Like 1/6 insurrections happen every other day or something. The idea that this will set some sort of precedent where politicians could be disqualified for 'frivolous' reasons is pathetic reasoning.

How else should we amend the Constitution so that voter choices aren't "limited"? Get rid of the age requirement? Allow those born outside of the U.S.?

The 14th amendment clearly states that a person that participates in an insurrection cannot seek office.

So, either the 14th Amendment stands or it falls, BUT THE JUSTICES NEVER ANSWERED THAT DID THEY?
