If society matured and public service ADS were run on TV and condoms were available at all check-outs that would help also. And then we have the prevention debate.Why are teens getting pregnant? Well, let's suppose teens started carrying condoms and one happens to fall out of a pocket on laundry day. Would Mamma thank her son for being responsible? Let's suppose a teen gal opens her purse and a condom falls out on the living room floor in front of her father. Do you think Papa will be proud of his daughter taking adult responsibility toward unwanted pregnancy?

If a teen is going to a party the parent may ensure/give them $20.00 in case the designated driver has been drinking and they have to take a taxi home. Do parents give/ensure their teen has a condom just in case? Or does the average parent gamble with not only unwanted pregnancy but with their child's life regarding STDs by threatening/implying if they ever found a condom the child would be punished?

Recall the girl who delivered in a school washroom and returned to the Prom dance? When questioned she said she ate less and less to hide the preganacy and she couldn't tell anyone because she would have broken her father's heart. A tragedy for all involved because we live in a sexually dysfunctional society.

A Congressional hearing because a woman's breast was exposed on TV but it's fine to see a woman nursing her child at a mall food court. Go figure.

Let's not forget there are few days in the month when a woman can get pregnant so the odds are she won't get pregnant. 5 to 10 days maximum so the odds are 1 chance out of 3. If her period is fairly regular she can determine the safest time. In most cases single people do not plan on sex. Hope, absolutely! Plan, no. So that means condoms should be readily available and notices to remind people. Like having them at check-outs. Why would people who object to abortion object to easily obtained condoms and notices reminding folks to pick some up on their shopping trip? Maybe a big sign on the supermarket wall easily visible by those waiting at the cash. "Did you remember condoms? Pick some up today." :)

Well, that sounds all well and good except that condoms are not 100%. There is a 100% full proof way of a woman not getting pregnant and that is keeping her legs closed. But, let's not relegate this discussion to just babies. There are other consequences of sex that should give women pause before they fly their legs open. There are STDs to consider.

Here is a thought experiment for you. Would you have sex with someone who had AIDS as long as one you wore a condom? Yes or No?

or we could force them to have sex with you. That would be about 100% certain birth control cause they would probably never have sex again. Actually, this isn't a matter of biology, but a matter of human interaction. You see, while it does take a man and a woman to make a baby, the sole determining factor in whether sex occurs is the woman. With the exception of rape, no man is having sex no matter how much he wants to unless the woman allows it. She is in control of the situation. Remember, it is you left wingers who claim that women want to control their own bodies and make their own reproductive choices. Well, it seems to me they only want to make those choices AFTER an innocent baby was conceived.

As I say, abstinence is 100% effective. It works every time it is tried.

To me it is a matter of simple common sense, which judging by these conversations, it would appear that women don't have.

If you don't want to get addicted to heroin, you don't try heroin. If you don't want to get addicted to cocaine you don't try cocaine. If you don't want to die in a terrorist attack, you don't climb on a plane filled with OWEblahblah's new buddies the Muslime Brotherhood. And, drum roll please if you really don't want to get pregnant, don't engage in the behavior that leads to getting pregnant.

its not easy to adopt anywhere.....it takes the court forever to finally reach the conclusion that the parents that you all assume hate their children enough to kill them should have their parental rights terminated against their will......any infant available for adoption is adopted immediately.....
