"I'm sorry, Senator Vitter, I didn't realize
you were meeting with a lobbyist."

I laughed at several and liked most of them.
I do question the one about 247 people on the terrorist watch list having legally bought guns.
I hope I can get an answer without unnecessary rancor, but exactly what does someone do that gets them on a terrorist watch list? And is that the same as a conviction of a crime?
I don't know how you get on a terrorist watch list. You'd have to ask the FBI.

Another interesting quote from the article (even though Fox News is not what I consider an unbiased source):
"Every time someone tries to buy a gun in the U.S., the background checks include the terror watch list. When there is a match, the information is shared with the FBI case agent who is leading the terrorism investigation, according to a counterterrorism official who spoke on condition of anonymity in order to discuss the process."
