No they are not idiot. There can be climate change without global warming. Go find me a big group of people or even a few who deny that climate changes. And those who "deny" global warming are really only denying man's effect on it.

Every sentient adult remembers the last 25 years, in which wingnuts denied there was any global warming happening, any climate change happening, or that is was all a hoax.
Wingnuts should never, ever, under any circumstances be allowed to white wash their past history on this topic. They are not allowed to belatedly claim they merely have some innocent concerns and questions about the nature of climate science. At the height of the phony climate gate non-scandal, deniers - to a man - were doing a victory dance and falsely claming that climate gate proved there was a vast global conspiracy of scientists to fake the climate data and dupe the world. I do not recall a single, solitary wingnut at that time, trying to put the brakes on the wild claims of hoaxes, international conspiracies, and falsification of data by a global cabal of climate scientists.
They own their claims of hoaxes and conspiracies. It cannot be swept under the rug.

I'm a bit ignorant on this subject, but since AGW has been verified, I assume it's been verified what the climate would be without humans. Any scientific references to this verification?

Hmm. So you don't know either. I thought you did since you claimed AGW had been verified . To my knowledge it's never come close to being verified.
I'll do some scientific article reviews on the subject and get back to you when I actually find something. Don't hold your breath waiting though, because I've reviewed this topic before (about two yrs. ago) and couldn't find anything. Perhaps some new research has come to light.

If you accept sea surface temp reconstuctions where the scientists choose to adjust accurate buoy temp data towards the warmer biased ship inlet water temp data, which is less accurate than the buoy data, the hiatus, or slowdown in the rate of warming since the 1998 el nino, never existed despite countless papers about it and entire sections in the IPCC AR5 about it. Karl et al 2015 is your ticket to anthropogenic bliss.
One thing though: If you check out the final minus raw, you can totally see the anthropogenic signal. Cool the past and warm the present. Anthropocene FTW!

I read the article. All it discusses is that there was no warming hiatus as stated by the IPCC.
No, all you can totally see is a graph. Nothing stated , much less concluded, about any anthropogenic signal.
In fact, I've never read a scientific article that actually concluded AGW. They certainly imply it. I'd be interested in reading it if you could find one.
