He was at least three sheets to the wind when he pulled the trigger. He commiited suicide because of his memory loss brought upon by electric shock treatment, which in turn was to alleviate his manic depression. He also had a multitude of problems caused by hard drinking not least liver disease and diabetes
good lord, I never realized he had so much in common with Billy.....

Rally for sanity ??? Thats a stretch.
D'oh! Shouldn't have said that one.
This is the progressive mindset. You are incapable of making the right decision.
But when do they begin to shove you or worse?
The progressive names on the ballot all across America echo the same exact thinking.
I think he was talking about the Churchill dog.

Look, America gets it. But back to the idea that you're just a bunch of stupid dogs — you have a choice: Choice one is you cannot do it. Choice two is you can.
A dog? Well, what do you do when you have a dog that's acting erratically. That's endangering the family. That's just too stupid and is causing problems? Well, first, you might give it away. But it's endangering everybody else, the collective family. I mean, you got to stop them.
Maybe you can train them? Maybe you can nudge them. What was that — oh, maybe you can manipulate the dog? But that doesn't work and all liberals would say, how dare you try to manipulate a dog? So, you'd have to put them down. Well, not around the liberals.
That would be the compassionate thing to do, right? Have the dog destroyed.
Well, there's another choice, I guess. You could just live by the Constitution. But they don't want to do that. Trying to figure this out — where do you go from there when people don't comply?
Well, no, there's certainly a difference between the loudmouth television host and the intellectual underpinnings of progressivism and it's a play we've seen before. This is the darkest part of the progressive mindset and it has been showing its ugly face quite a bit lately.

I was having dinner with friends of mine and they said they weren't sure if they were actually going to vote because they didn't know who to vote for.
I looked around and I went, are there cameras?
Am I being punked?
I couldn't believe that friends of mine were telling me that and these are people that know what's going on.
They know the stakes. But they didn't know if they were going to vote.
I thought, if we don't have 50 percent turnout in this country under these conditions, Ben Franklin's words come to mind when he was finished with the Constitution, he was walking down the street, the story goes, and a woman came to him and said, "What have you given us, Mr. Franklin?"
And he said, "A republic, ma'am, if you can keep it."
