They estimated the crowd at 60k- I really don't even think it was that big...but? Becks rally drew an estimated 300k to 500k
The skinny on the event is that it will do little to motivate anyone to vote who was not already planning on doing so-or to vote differently. There just isn't any enthusiasm for democrats no matter how they try and whip it up~

It resonates with voters that our government has become too intrusive; too irresponsible; too greedy with our money; and too arrogant! Beck is a strict constitutionalist pundit who allows himself to remain human-even if it includes showing his weakness to being passionate about what he has to say. Personally he's usually too intense for me to watch him except in "bits and pieces"...but what he says resonates!
He's a paranoid lunatic. Everyone but the 30 percenters know that. I don't care about the emotion he shows or the crying; it's the constant paranoia that stands out for me.

They wail and they gnash their teeth and claim something needs to be done...except one would think if they were serious, they'd have been shouting the same over the past decade.
Oddly however, their cries of "Government intrusion" only began to ring out when...SURPRISE...they lost both houses of Congress AND the White House.
Funny how no one ever heard from all the "constitutionalists" about the Bush White House...about Republican controlled Congress spending orgies...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...it's only NOW that they are no longer controlling the seats of power are they suddenly "outraged".

It does seem pretty boring. I was gonna go but....yeah surgery and being out of work a couple weeks put a damper on it. Otherwise you all would see me on TV during the rally, being HISTORY ALTERING DRUNK
