Stewart on GE

Do liberals really expect GE to not try to save money? It was done legally, so instead of attacking GE, why not reform the tax code? This is the government's problem, not GE's.

what is interesting...and despite the fact i've brought it up to numerous libs on this board....is that they don't mind and in fact DEFEND GM not paying taxes

has anyone been able to get a liberal to explain why they defend one and not the other?

Get off it already. You, like you older counterpart, Dixie, think liberals are brainless, and that just doesn't fly. It has been stated and liberals know who is to blame, but I, unlike you, fault both parties and the Supreme Court for giving corporations so much power. I have advocated for a flat tax since the day I came to this forum. I also hate both parties, but find myself more at odds with the Republicans because I am a social liberal.

Liberal aren't the bad guys. Opposing opinions use to be useful...compromise works best for the public.
