I think there are many people in the GOP, both in real life and on this message board, who have willfully put party over country in committing themselves to the relentless defense of Trump.

I cannot really see overlooking that as an innocent mistake.
 
It is unlikely there will be another Trump, but he could win office again.

That would be interesting considering all those who claimed Biden is too old.

Trump is 4 years younger than Biden, and 4 years went by before he could have another shot, making him as old in 2024 as Biden was when he took office.

Totally agree.

They have been whipped up into such hatred for fellow Americans that they have lost perspective.

They claim America first but it is a hollow slogan for the GOP, which often sabotages progress and hurts America in order to prevent Democrat success.

Biden's greatest failure would be not prosecuting Trump.
