Ok. We'll I've never seen on my Facebook feed people openly rooting against a team based on politics. To each his own.
lol..so now we're into politically correct sports rooting?
When I've had sports talks with friends, or viewed people arguing over sports it was about the team or players performance. I've never had discussion where we talked about a player's politics.
Of NFL owners Kraft gave the most money to Obama in 2012. Now he's supposedly a Trump guy? Am I suppose to switch whether I like a team based on who the owner donates to in a particular year?
I don't think it has anything to do with pokitical correctness. I think there is irony that the team in liberal MA is seen as the bad guys and the team from the red Deep South the good guys
Yes, I've stopped rooting for a player of team based on their politics, and I doubt that's rare.
Point is, Trump is incredibly unpopular .. why should sports and the people who engage in them be any different?
Across the spectrum of life and careers, Trump is incredibly unpopular .. with of course the exception of WWE fans. They like fake shit .. think it's real.
lots of times sports are used for proxie tribalism. I have a hard time figuring out the good guys from the bad guys.I'm just utterly sick of Brady and the Pats win all the time. Remember HAWKEYE from DCJ? I'm sure he's happy.I don't think it has anything to do with pokitical correctness. I think there is irony that the team in liberal MA is seen as the bad guys and the team from the red Deep South the good guys
Because you are a dumb cocksucker and what is wrong with our country.
You need perspective.
You are a good reason why slavery should still be in place.
So says the uneducated white boy who can't make a coherent argument. It's not about where they're from .. it's about their perception.
Like Michael Jordan said, Republicans buy shoes tooWith all due respect my friend, if you've never had a conversation with someone regarding a player or teams politics .. that seems a rather limited experience. I've been having those conversations since I was 15 years old .. and obviously, those conversations are being had right here on this board.
'Performance' is a statistical measure for record books.
Why do you think most athletes keep their politics close to their vest?
I guess I'm having a hard time understanding why you think that's strange.
It's how sports are perceived all over the world.
Go take a look at the thread with Trump cultists claiming 'victory' for Trump because the Patriots won.
I was never a fan of Kapernick, until he took a stand. Now I have have his jersey.
Sports and politics are never far apart.
See; Muhammed Ali, Jesse Owens ...
I prefer to have the jersey of a talented player, like my recently acquired Steve Largent jersey.
So says the uneducated white boy who can't make a coherent argument.
So while the adults speak, you lay around wishing for slavery to come back. :0)
Good luck with that bitch.
Like Michael Jordan said, Republicans buy shoes too
So BAC, am I a sell out Republican if continue to root for the Warriors knowing Curry and Kerr's politics?
Ever hear Jordan openly talk about his politics? :0)
Case closed.
I'm reading my Facebook timeline and people are posting this is like election night all over again and this is about the rich white man winning again against the people. I mean WTF?!
I'm a Republican and a patriotic American and I hate all Boston sports teams. This is crazy
I didn't say I wish for it to come back Toby. God no wonder you people shoot each other as ignorant as you are.
Carry on coon boy.
