That was when Sessions was 1st being talked about. And I remember you pointing that out to me. By the time he was named AG, I knew his background on it in much more detail - it was pretty obvious where things were headed.

It is a Founding principle of the United States of America that Liberty is a:
- Creator endowed,
- Constitutionally enumerated
- unalienable right.

What does Liberty mean:
Liberty means the right and power to think, act and express ones self in the manner of ones own choosing, provided that Liberty does not infringe or usurp the Liberty of another or others.

What does unalienable mean?
Not to be separated, given away, or taken away.

Yet the U.S. federal Drug War punishes the exercise of Liberty as a crime.

How the %$#@ can the exercise of an UNALIENABLE right POSSIBLY be a crime ?!

It's Trump's hypocrisy that's as bad as any of the rest of it.

Trump excuses his position on trans-gender / public school toilets as States rights.

But on Drug War, despite obvious documented successes like Colorado's end to the War on marijuana; all of a sudden President Trump isn't such a fan of States rights after all.

More Republican hypocrisy!
 
I wonder how much wall building money all this federal weed enforcement will require.

Will Dump accept the idea of having a less magnificent and less beautiful wall just to pay for more weed enforcement?
 
In my opinion it's time for Congress to begin legislation to end this drug war insanity. Opioids come from the witch doctors at the mediplex that's where the opioid problem is coming from

Running a business is a privilege. There is no "right to discriminate". To the contrary, for the good of the whole, there is a right to not be discriminated against.

so when the USSC opined in the very beginning of our nations rule of law that 'the right to contract' is a fundamental right, they were kidding?
 
this is obviously bullshit and antiquated but this isn't just a republican thing. Currently in massachusetts right now democrats in our state house are trying to change the law after us voters voted on this referendum. they always drag their feet on this shit. IT'S BEEN 4 FUCKING YEARS since we got medical and there is like no where to go in mass for that. Now they are trying to half the number of plants one can have in their house, lower the amount of possession, roll back the time scale from early next year to maybe even 2019. it's bullshit. And yes it's majorly hypocritical for the trump admin to care about "states rights" on some issues but not care about states rights when it comes to legalization.

also obama and his thugs were busting down doors too. i really don't get the holdup on marijuana these days. The DEA making it schedule 1 is a fucking joke. There is no logical reason I can think of at this point other than it puts more people in cells for the for profit prison industry. police lobbyists and prison lobbyist must really have them by the balls

Actually, it's very relevant. The Feds took years to allow banks to do business with MJ shops. The IRS has yet to allow shops to take standard business deductions.
That will all make it almost impossible for shops to stay in business if the banks are once again denied access to the industry.

Do not misrepresent my views. I am a strong proponent of federalism,and federalism gave us
"the states are the laboratories of change" ,and that gave us legal weed.
