The classified docs are not the primary reason for the special master. There was privileged information in those papers, both executive and lawyer/client. The Gestapo...(oops! sorry! I think a lot of the confusion stems from misunderstanding this concept. The truth of it is, though they don't "own" this material, ex-presidents still retain access to them as long as they remain in control of the national archives. Clinton's stuff was archived correctly (and sandy berger tried stealing sensitive papers from that archive by stuffing them in his underwear), I just found out obama has his stuff stashed in an approved facility, hell, I'll bet fucking jimmy carter still has his shit locked up. Did anyone have the decency to do this for Trump? Evidently the fucking FBI told him that if he put a padlock on the storage room, he'd probably be okay. he most important questions about this clusterfuck:

1) Who packed those boxes?

2) Who signed off on the inventory?

3) Who loaded them onto the truck?

4) Who signed the classified documents out of their secure facilities?

5) Who physically placed the classified documents in the boxes, intermingled with personal items NOT belonging to the government?

6) If Trump "stole" these classified documents, exactly HOW did he do it?

7) If Trump "stole" these classified documents, exactly WHY did he do it?

Remember this? “Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”. Trump will not be indicted. He will not go to jail. And even if he doesn't run in '24, you can't kill his ideas.

I'm not a lawyer, but the ones I've seen on the news know 1) it's a standard thing to do to avoid the appearance of bias and 2) this is just a delaying tactic to benefit Trump with the result of it screwing the Pedo Party.
