He served them well and was a great advocate for the social issues that make us a great people and a great nation. His death was valiant -- he served to the end despite the agony he must have suffered.

For those twisted sickos who think he should have suffered more -- he paid the price with his painful death. Be happy for that.

Dumbfuck. Carter was such a weak President that Kennedy DID run for President in the 1980 Election. He ran against Carter in the primary and lost.

I wouldn't call the death of the pedestrian in SD a "murder." More likely vehicular manslaughter. Even so, the OP isn't about him being criminally charged. It's about him being impeached.

The people of SD get to decide whether they feel this guy leads them well despite this tragedy, or should he be impeached.

That's the point, dumbass: Ted Kennedy was never the nominee because the Republicans would crucify him.

Pat Paulson and Stephen Colbert ran for President too by your standards. Neither got on the ballot in November.

Pretty sure his drunk DRIVING was the driving factor in killing Mary Joe. That and keeping 2 hands on the wheel instead of trying to play drunken ass grab.

Laws vary on the terms. Was the man killed instantly or did he bleed out in a ditch as the asshole ran home to sober up? If the latter and he left a man to die to save his ass, I think it's murder. South Dakota may give him a medal like Eric wants to do.

Thanks for correcting my poor wording: Ted Kennedy never received the Democratic nomination to run as President because he kill Mary Jo.
 
Even then after Carter was re nominated the Democrats tried slipping in more of their greasy shit by having John Anderson from Ill run as an Indy to split away some of the Reagan vote.
