South Dakota AG may be impeached

So wait,...are you saying that it HAS BEEN PROVEN he committed a DUI Homicide? I would REALLY like to get a link for that. I would think that would be REALLY hard to do considering he hasnt even been charged let alone found guilty of that kind of crime yet.

Isn't he dead already?

Awwww,....you DID IT AGAIN! Why cant you honor your own word?

Now tell everyone how I threatened to murder you and your family, Eric. I miss that lie. Like this one, it was revealing. LOL

You see guys its like this....... In our form of Govt we have to use actual FACTS To convict someone of a crime. We dont get to just make up bullshit stories as we go along because they SOUND plausible just because we may not like the person. See,...its kinda like the Trump case in New York. Charges not being brought by the DA,....no supporting evidence or FACTS. Just innuendo and bullshit stories that never hold up. ;)

I have always thought Teddy Boy was guilty.

The DA was probably distant kinfolk or something!

Kennedy money kept Teddy out of jail but the family of Mary Jo Kopechne never felt their daughter received the justice she deserved. Reportedly, Teddy never apologized to them for killing their daughter, no matter how accidentally.

But thats not an established FACT that it happened that way. You just conjured parts of the story up. We are all entitled to a fair trial and considered innocent until PROVEN guilty,...not the other way around.

Duh.

He's not been accused of anything criminal, yet. This is about impeaching him for killing someone.

It's what's reported in the OP, btw. I'm discussing that.

Not sure he'd have to get out. He could have realized he clipped a human and then just sped off without checking. He went back after he sobered up later so see if the person was gone. Then he called it in as you stated.

That's true. I was just assuming that he would have stopped and gotten out if he'd hit something substantial enough to probably cause damage, like most of us would have. I'm wondering how they knew that he was DUIing at the time.

So they never heard of it? WTF

I had five kids since that happened, and do not recall that incident being in any of their history books. When you were a school kid, did you give a shit about some minor-in-the-grand-scheme-of-things event involving a boring old political dude, that happened decades before you were born?

Only you Deflectionists care. Tsk.

Because it happened in 1969 and the majority of board members were not born then. It has never come up in any threads I have seen.

I was only 5 years old then but I remember it well. I remember reading all about it in the Chicago Trib,....I even wrote a letter to the editor on it. Whole thing pissed me right off. I was able to use it as a wedge issue against my Democratic opponent " Willoughby Jenkins" in the race for Kindergarten class President though so I won pretty handily. My opponent brought in a more positive article on the incident from the failing New York Times and read it to the class and I distinctly remember thats when I used the term FAKE NEWS for the very first time ;). I labeled him CROOKED Willoughby to the class and it stuck,....and they loved it! The rest is history.

I was alive at the time and it was a pretty big deal.

If he was sober or "only had a few". If he was shitfaced the instinct would be to run before cops showed up.

The same way they track down drunk pilots after arrest; go back to the bar and check the receipts. LOL

It's hard to explain how one was sober to drive after downing six Jack Daniels or a pitcher of Margaritas in an hour. :)

All of us who were around at the time. It plagued Teddy for years which is why he never ran for President. That's how Eric must have learned about it.

While the homicide gave Republicans a hammer against him in Congress and it kept Teddy off the Presidential nominee, the voters of Massachusetts kept reelecting him. His last election was won with 69% of the vote.

https://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2006/MA/2006-11-07-us-senate-house_x.htm
With 47% of precincts reporting, Kennedy had 729,905 votes, or 69%, and Chase had 327,558, or 31%.

Yeah, and Laura Bush ran a stop sign and killed someone when she was 17. Should THAT have kept W out of the White House? Gods, you ppl are desperate.
He's desperate to get a Republican off a murder charge. Watch what he does when the white supremacist terrorists murder Americans before the election.
