Souls to the Polls? Not in Texas

Yes, because church services are over by then. So why the change, racist? What's the justification? You'd better check Breitbart quick for the answer.

Did they have Sunday voting souls to the polls in the 70s 80s 90s?

if not they got by just fine..so why change it?

They didn't get by just fine, but at least they had the Voting Rights Act to protect them from these idiotic laws. But racist Republicans got rid of the Voting Rights Act. Because, you know, they don't believe in Voting Rights for black people. Why pretend? Just say you think black people are monkeys and shouldn't be allowed to vote. It isn't like we can't figure out how you feel. Seriously. Why pretend?

How about people just follow the new voting hours. Some dumb assholes want early voting to go on months before an election and others think mail-in ballots are ok. Can you imagine the stupidity of such a thing?

When I imagine stupidity, you immediately come to mind.

I want people to have more time to vote, more options to vote, and more access to voting in general.

Is there a single Republican who can honestly say the same?

Rhetorical question. I know the answer.

Correct. And they have made up this voter fraud fairy tale to support their suppression efforts.

We really need to prepare for the coming of Thanos. We need anti-Thanos laws.

If you’re looking for the right to vote, you won’t find it in the United States Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

The Bill of Rights recognizes the core rights of citizens in a democracy, including freedom of religion, speech, press and assembly. It then recognizes several insurance policies against an abusive government that would attempt to limit these liberties: weapons; the privacy of houses and personal information; protections against false criminal prosecution or repressive civil trials; and limits on excessive punishments by the government.

But the framers of the Constitution never mentioned a right to vote. They didn’t forget – they intentionally left it out. To put it most simply, the founders didn’t trust ordinary citizens to endorse the rights of others.

Contrary to popular belief, there is not an affirmative right to vote in the U.S. Constitution

While the U.S. Constitution bans the restriction of voting based on race, sex and age, it does not explicitly and affirmatively state that all U.S. citizens have a right to vote. The Supreme Court ruled in Bush v. Gore in 2000 that citizens do not have the right to vote for electors for president. States control voting policies and procedures, and as a result, we have a patchwork of inconsistent voting rules run independently by 50 states, 3,067 counties and over 13,000 voting districts, all separate and unequal.

There is none. They looked at voting practices that are favored in black communities and got rid of them. It really isn't more complicated than that.
Yes. They claim that they're adding hours at the discretion of each county. We know how that will go. So they claim to extend hours, but cut polling places. Even though they're really cutting hours.

That's basically what the constitution says.
