The national Chapter forced the local Chapter to admit him . He had tried more than once to get admitted and had been rejected by the local Chapter..
He was rejected because he didn't meet any of the qualifications..

Why would someone want to be in a sorority where no one wanted him there? Oh yeah the view was great.

I was in one of those rent-a-buddy clubs for my first couple of years of college.
It was a one ball system. One vote against a rushee and he couldn’t pledge. I can’t imagine the national organization forcing the local chapter into letting an undesirable in.
I remember having to memorize the creed had something in it like “a society of men with common ideals”.
Things have changed I guess.

The girls at my college liked to sunbath on the roof of their dorm. Fortunately for me the roof on my apartment building was higher and had an unobstructed view .
