Sometimes I wish I was wealthy for doing nothing.

A nigga did that to me once.

I caught him in the woods later when it was just me n him and beat the everloving shit out of him.

He didn't slap me, he sucker punched me.

I gave him like 5x that, and almost drowned him, then decided I didn't want to be a murderer.

So I dragged his 200-lb ass back up the 4-5 foot bank and put a few more blows to him and left.

He tried to swing at me and was all bent over in the motion, and I punted that bitch dead in the face while he was mid-swing like Martin Gramatica.

It took his feet out from under him and swept him dead onto his back where I gave him a couple stomps in the face for good measure.

I kicked that motherfucker so hard my foot hurt for a week. It was a good hurt, though, I or my friends got all the others that jumped me that night, too. Except for one...

A dude that has a dick and balls tattooed all across his back, and I'm not trying to break into prison to get his dumbass.

So, detention hall in the 7th grade was a little rough huh?

Just joking!

Sounds like you handled yourself OK!

I liked to see someone try that in court. “Your honor, I just had a brain fart when I decided to gat that fool.”

Trump has tried this many times- IT SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED FOR HIM MANY TIMES!

Well, then there was that time his Brain-Fart excuse didn't work- Trump University!

Smith is 53 years old. He either has been a roll model for decades, or has not been... But he will not be the next one. Cosby's fall from grace happened 50 years after people started calling him a roll model.

Cosby's moral lecturing really rubbed people the wrong way. He probably would have gotten away with his rapes had he not lectured everyone on morality.

Smith is careful not to curse, and sells himself as a family man, but does not do as much moral lecturing. And his crimes are not as severe.

50 years ago, Fat Albert would be on right now on Saturday Morning.

Right after Bugs Bunny.

"Will Smith is hospitalized in a prestigious mental clinic, which he entered voluntarily, to try to alleviate all the stress and discomfort that this situation has caused him."
I hope he gets help, I think he was headed this way for awhile. I think constantly being scrutinized while famous wears on high profile people.

Just think of the millions of people who have it much harder than Will Smith but can’t check into the hospital to avoid consequences from bad decisions.

I agree that he made a mistake and apologized, I wont hold it against him. He is a good actor. I like some of his films. Ill still go see his films.

Ive slapped people when I shouldn't have. Luckily it was not on national TV and I am not famous.

Same. Not “slapped” though. Punched…in the ribs, my fist moving all of 6 inches before contact. Albeit, this was while the guy had my coat collar criss-crossed over my throat and was choking me. But when I hit him he collapsed and stayed down for probably 2 full minutes, maybe more, and I realized I should never hit anyone u less they were truly attacking me. Fortunately this was before cell cameras and no, I’m not famous either.

Neither of us are perfect, but glad we are loved and forgiven.

Funny!

I tried to be a comedian once- Everybody just laughed at me!:(

That's okay, as long as they didn't point too...

Everyone said what a great man Cosby was for providing such wholesome entertainment. Even before that, he was on I Spy, and was put forward as a role model for Blacks.

Or won’t get help, even more of those. My friends daughter, who is schizophrenic thinks everyone else is crazy and she’s fine. She refuses to make her medication because it makes her feel funny, and she gets lonely because the voices go away. It’s so very sad.

Poor lady. Mental illnesses are often so hard to treat for those reasons. My only guy cousin is schizophrenic. He wouldn't take medication because he believes that it's "poison."

Hello cawacko,

You may get some bites saying musicians/entertainers get rich doing nothing. I don't think Will Smith is going to get a lot of sympathy here.

Musicians are some of the hardest working lowest paid members of our society.

Only the few who are famous are well paid. That vast majority can't even support themselves on music and have to work other jobs. Go to a local eatery or bar with live music. The people performing for you and helping you have a wonderful time? They all have day jobs.

Most musicians have to work very hard to perfect their performance. Hours and hours of effort with no pay. The average musician is probably lucky of the music just pays for the equipment. Good musical equipment is not cheap, but any pay they get is.

Even the people in a touring band are not rich. They have to be very creative to make ends meet.

Even the people onstage with a major act. If they are the background musicians, they are just barely getting by. Only the big name is making lots of money.

20 Feet from Stardom

Basically, capitalism takes full advantage of people who love music so much they want to be immersed in it to the point that it is their livelihood.

Hello Jarod,

My point is that I work very hard, but when I make a mistake, I do not have the luxury of checking into a clinic to alleviate all the stress and discomfort that my mistake has caused me.

Living one's life in the public view is not all it is cracked up to be. It has caused many to crack up.

You don't know a fucking thing about the music business. I have friends that have made a good living playing bars and nightclubs.
