He doesn’t have to redeem himself, in my belief he was forgiven before he was born. To me, the apology was enough. He fucked up and then admitted it.

A nigga did that to me once.

I caught him in the woods later when it was just me n him and beat the everloving shit out of him.

He didn't slap me, he sucker punched me.

I gave him like 5x that, and almost drowned him, then decided I didn't want to be a murderer.

So I dragged his 200-lb ass back up the 4-5 foot bank and put a few more blows to him and left.

He tried to swing at me and was all bent over in the motion, and I punted that bitch dead in the face while he was mid-swing like Martin Gramatica.

It took his feet out from under him and swept him dead onto his back where I gave him a couple stomps in the face for good measure.

I kicked that motherfucker so hard my foot hurt for a week. It was a good hurt, though, I or my friends got all the others that jumped me that night, too. Except for one...

A dude that has a dick and balls tattooed all across his back, and I'm not trying to break into prison to get his dumbass.

Smith hitting Rock is unacceptable, and it is not the first horrible thing Smith has done... But it is not like he got wealthy for nothing, inheriting a lot of money, or even just getting money for his looks. He is a good lyrics writer, a good rapper, and has worked hard to be a good actor.

Smith definitely worked a lot harder for his money than trump.

They have been changing the laws so that domestic violence must lead to arrest, but almost all other similar violence is very variable on whether it will lead to an arrest. Even domestic violence is often ignored.

What you would need to have this lead to an arrest is for first a police officer to witness the slap, then the police officer has to care, then the victim has to be willing to press charges, and finally the police officer has to care some more. Alternately, if a police officer does not witness the slap, the victim has to make a complaint, a police officer has to care, a prosecutor has to care, a judge has to care, a warrant has to be issued...

I think you are getting the point. Huge amounts of violence is just ignored. The reason violent people finally go to jail is not because every violent crime is prosecuted, but because they commit a huge number of violent crimes.

Rock is not making noise about pressing charges, so if this were normal people, the police would pretend it never happened.

Smith is 53 years old. He either has been a roll model for decades, or has not been... But he will not be the next one. Cosby's fall from grace happened 50 years after people started calling him a roll model.

Cosby's moral lecturing really rubbed people the wrong way. He probably would have gotten away with his rapes had he not lectured everyone on morality.

Smith is careful not to curse, and sells himself as a family man, but does not do as much moral lecturing. And his crimes are not as severe.
 
The wealthy don't work for their wealth. You think a guy like Warren Buffet has ever "worked"? You might "work" in the beginning when you first start playing the stock market (I.E., learning how to invest), but once you begin to generate passive income, it's a matter of reinvesting dividends and continuing to earn passive income.

Essentially, men like Buffet have built a fortune off the backs of the working man. He lives in the lap of luxury as a reward for sitting on his ass for decades, and we normals sacrifice the best years of our lives to give him what he has has, only to have nothing to show for it except a meager retirement fund and a worn old body (and many people won't even have a retirement fund).
