Someone needs to explain this

You keep trying to conflate walking with destruction. You aren't convincing anyone.

That's why we don't care when your team rattles on about insurrection this law and order that at the prospect of pardons. We know you people pretend to be unable to tell the difference between "trespassing" (walking) and violence much less the difference between violence and attempting to undermine the constitution.
Protesters trespass as part of protesting all the time. If they truly refuse to leave after being asked, they get arrested and are soon released because all they are doing is peacefully protesting.

January 6 was anything but peaceful protesting.

Your implication that since it is a public building there can't be trespassing, is clear misguided. We both know you can't just peacefully into any part of a public building 24/7.

Evidence absolutely does NOT say otherwise. That's pure fantasy.

There is no evidence. Courts rejected everything. Well, except on the side of the right, w/ fake electors and a sitting President telling an election official to find votes.
You're going to find out exactly how wrong you are about that in the near future.
The 2020 cheat is not going away. This election proves they cheated in 2020.
Donald Trump has been elected president 3x, and Democrats are pieces of shit.

That was exactly my point.

Still, exactly my point.

The summer of love riots were hardly peaceful protesting, but the peaceful protestors weren't abducted and held for four years, in some cases without trial, and in other cases with signed confessions of wrong-think being conditions for release.

Yet you talk about "trespassing".

More along the lines of: Since it is a public building and they are protesting "trespass" has always been slap on the wrist material, and that's assuming intent can be proven.

They were just protesting by trespassing. They were actively fighting and assaulting police, scandalizing, stealing, etc.

You can't make a violent riot into a peaceful protest by pretending it was.

"The summer of love riots were hardly peaceful protesting, but the peaceful protestors weren't abducted and held for four years".

Correct. Many were held longer.

You can't make walking insurrection just by pretending it was. The J6 political prisoners are the people who were "just trespassing", the anarchists, pagans, and FBI plants who smacked police are a different category.

"scandalizing" lol another new one?

Some were just trespassing. Some of the just trespassers were charged with other crimes related to disrupting the election certification. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Not everyone involved did jail/prison time. Some people did many years in prison depending on their specific behavior.
