Someone is panicked!

Trump quickly backed down from his 48 hour deadline threat as soon as Iran said they would retaliate by destroying water desalination plants and energy grids across the Persian Gulf area.
I say nuke them now.

or cut and run.

this in between shit is the problem.

this is the death by a thousand cuts, which we could easily avoid with a massive statement action.

Agreed, but the President isn't a king and a presidential administration is a system. So why is the system failing We, the People?

IMO, it's because Congress isn't holding the Executive branch accountable for their actions and mishandling of multiple national and international problems.
The president isn't a King? Tell that to the member who keeps mocking Trump with his No Kings moniker. Wonder if we'll get to see more of the No King protests.

Even if you aren't actually serious about using nuclear weapons, you are obviously not sane or rational enough to even be talking about this situation.

The frightening thing is that trump is obviously also not sane or rational enough to be the one to make the decision.

This is the nature of asymmetrical warfare AKA terrorism; merely expressing a viable threat is enough to generate results.

Most nations, especially democratic ones, are responsible to their people. Illiberal nations are not. Iran is a dictatorial theocracy with 45 years of being backed by a radical and well-funded Islamic militancy. They have nothing to lose if facing collapse and will take down all the major ME oil countries with them if necessary.

There is no negotiating with terrorists. Like fire ants, they can't be eliminated, only controlled. Trump has effectively removed the controls and then started a war with them. This will not end well for us or anyone else.

IMO, the only exit strategy is to remove Trump from office and backing away from the problem to let it cool down.

all this is all fucking insane.

but death by a thousand cuts of my nation does not interest me.

tariffs, border enforcement.

So you'd accept him destroying the economy, fueling inflation and bringing us to the brink of world war just because you want tariffs and a tighter border?

Bullshit.

Bigotry against non-whites is what MAGA really means when they say "border enforcement".

We have the receptionist torn. Starting a war is bad. Ending a war is bad. Gas is expensive, but he doesn't need any.
Got anything to do with embedded TDS eating brain cells?
The only one panicking is the creator of this thread.
Orange man bad.

Starting a war for no good reason = BAD. Ending a war is always good. Gas being expensive is bad no matter how it affects me. Not panicked, feeling good today. The Orange man is a bad president.

in the end those are all that matter.
To MAGA, but not to anyone else.
no.

its not causing a glut in labor and driving down wages.
No it is not.

Immigrants are mostly taking jobs Americans don't want anyway.

How many middle of working class American citizens of any race are lining up to be crop pickers or landscapers or construction laborers?

Not enough to fill the demand, that's how many.

The policies of trumperism are a failure.

The republican led congress has basically abdicated. they might as well go home.
