According our received ‘epidemiological wisdom’ Sweden was supposed to be a hellish disaster by now, with people dying in the streets and bringing out their dead like in the famous Python skit.

Someone forgot to tell Sweden—or maybe they forgot to tell the China Virus.

Sweden appears to winning vs COVID while parts of lockdown-happy Europe are seeing big spikes. How does Team Panic explain this?

The number of new cases per 100,000 people in Sweden reported over the last 14 days since July 29 dropped by 54 percent from the figure reported over 14 days prior to then, according to the latest report Wednesday from the World Health Organization (WHO).

Meanwhile, other parts of Europe have reported large spikes in new cases over the same period, including Spain, France, Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands, which have seen increases between 40 and 200 percent over the last month, according to the latest WHO report Wednesday. [OP link]

Well obviously, after all those people died, Soros switched the virus off in Sweden.

You blow a shitload of opportunities to enthrall us with your science and facts, which leads me to believe you possess neither. And I have a question too. What gives YOU the "RIGHT" to dictate what rights people have in a forum such as this?(on jacksonsprat22's ignore list in 5,4,3,2,1...)
 
Sweden has the worst record by far in Scandinavia. The other countries did the right thing. Sweden did not and they paid. The Trump virus was devastating for Sweden.
 
Sweden took precautionary steps such as shutting down Universities and asking people to stay home and distance as much as possible.

They also put many strict guidelines in place for Restaurants, Bars, Health and Beauty salons, tattoo parlors, etc. without having to shut them down.

And the kids have been out of school all summer that helped as well.

In Sweden, if the government asks them to wear a mask when going out in public- THEY DID IT WITHOUT MAKING SOME POLITICAL COW CHiP THROWING CONTEST OUT OF IT!

It goes to show you how a country can be successful by following the Mitigation Guidelines set by their government to follow!

Somebody explain Sweden

1)Smart people who feel a duty to their community

2) Lots of people have already had it

3) Summer, the swedes are outside in the summer

4) long summer vacations

5) unlike some neighboring peoples the swedes do very well producing Vit D, especially this time of year.
