If DeSantis wins the GOP nomination, what do you think Trump will do? I don't see him staying on the sidelines. He's so used to campaigning and it feeds his massive ego as well as his bank account.

Many think he will run as an independent and siphon off red votes, giving the Dems an easy win.

Doubt it, his previous financial backers are deserting him in droves.

Here we go. The Republicans keep losing elections and according to gfm, it's not their fault. It's the election system's fault.
It's never the Republicans fault with their radicalism, racism and lame policies. They blame the (s)election system.
Now, isn't that just precious. The reps won't win another election until they realize THEY are the problem, not the elections.
In the last 30 years, The Reps have lost the popular vote in 7 out of the last 8 presidential elections. The trend is likely to continue.

The funny part is that most abortions occur within 8-10 weeks. No clue why they are screeching about it.

They say heartbeat starts at 6 weeks? No problem. Still most abortions occur prior to that.

So they keep pushing the date back all the way back.

There are 50 states each making their own rules, so many some will do that, but most probable will do other things.

If abortion is murder, as Republicans claim, then a "chemical abortion" would be murder. Supporting that would turn the Republican base against you. And most of the medical disasters cannot be solved by "chemical abortions", so there will continue to be the repeated stories of women being injured by the law. It is a lose/lose compromise that will not go over well.

You can go to the Democratic base and say a compromise is needed. They will accept that. The Republican base claims abortion is the murder of children. There is no compromise possible on the murder of children.
