Some of my Mormon friends have told me that Ether 8:25 (Book of Mormon) says secret combinations cause “the destruction of all people.” Not just wicked nations, all people who tolerate them. When good men stay silent, evil thrives in plain sight. The greatest danger isn’t what’s hidden, it’s what’s accepted.

They think Trump is the leader of a great secret combination to overthrow American freedom and religious liberty.

I hope they are wrong about Trump, but one has to wonder.

We are seeing the same acquiescence among Trump’s followers as the fascists did 100 years ago.

Hitler, Himmler and Goering didn’t kill the Jews. It was the baker, the shoemaker and the teacher who donned uniforms and turned their backs on their neighbors.
