My zip code, douchebag. How's your boyish looking wife?

That means you live in the southeastern USA. Not that you are a southerner. Someone living in Arizona is not southern either.

Which is why I made the comment I did.

Arizona is not in The South, douchebag. So how's your boy-looking wife? :)

If you draw a line thru the middle of the USA it is in the southern half.

Just moving to NC does not make you a southerner.

This topic isn't enough for you? You have to continue to talk about your fixation with me? So much for your whole "you are forgettable" comment, huh?

I understand what is typically recognized as "southern". That dates back to the old south, not a strictly geographical split of the nation.

Which is why I made the comment I did. You are not "southern" in what we southerners recognize. Moving to NC does not change that. Your new moniker fits much more than your old one.

But if you look at the map you posted, and draw a line from the Atlantic to the Pacific, thru the middle of the nation, AZ is in the southern half.

SM, you are obviously of the mistaken opinion that by merely moving to an area you become part of that culture.

There is much more to being southern than simply living below the Mason-Dixon line.

Or, the culture fits me better than the place that I happened to be born.

How's your boy-wife?

Unless you have a radically different personality in real life than you do online, you are most definitally not southern.

Liking lower taxes is not the same thing.

The culture in New England fits me better than the one in Mongolia too, but it doesn't make me a yankee.

Like you're opinion matters. :fu:

Lets see, who would be better equipped to answer what is involved in being "southern", a yankee who moved south because of the taxes and cost of living, or a life-long southerner?

The fact that you think you moving into the south makes you a southerner shows how little you know about it.

The south has long been known for its hospitality, graciousness, friendliness, and traditions. You exhibit none of those traits.

Maryland? Come on.... It's above the MD line!

I stand humbly corrected:
