Soft Core Porn Video Uncovered...And Trump Is In It!

This don't even rise to the level of LAME.....you gotta be a little loony to post a thread like this.

Oh my gawdssss, Trump opens a bottle of Champaign and pours some over a Playboy symbol.

Hillary ignores the pleads for security from an American ambassador and he and three others are killed...meh.

It could be argued that you have to be a little loony to make false claims about a former Miss Universe with respect to a porn video...especially when you did a cameo in one.

Common Defense Mechanisms

Are you kidding me? Do you even read your own links?
Psychologists have categorized defense mechanisms based upon how primitive they are. The more primitive a defense mechanism, the less effective it works for a person over the long-term. However, more primitive defense mechanisms are usually very effective short-term, and hence are favored by many people and children especially (when such primitive defense mechanisms are first learned). Adults who don’t learn better ways of coping with stress or traumatic events in their lives will often resort to such primitive defense mechanisms as well.

Most defense mechanisms are fairly unconscious – that means most of us don’t realize we’re using them in the moment. Some types of psychotherapy can help a person become aware of what defense mechanisms they are using, how effective they are, and how to use less primitive and more effective mechanisms in the future.

Every time Trump attacks someone for something, it turns out he has done it himself. Sick! Sad!

really? Have you ever heard of people without "mental disorders" going to see a psychiatrist? It happens every day.
People go simply to become self-actualized , or aware of their behaviors/thoughts.

defense mechanism is =it's coping behavior, there is nothing "disorders" about it.
we all use them.

Mentally healthy people do NOT project their own shortcomings onto others. "I know you are, but what am I" is typically a response that we stop using somewhere around 8 years old.

mentally healthy in that case would be someone who rose up above pettiness. Is a petty person one with a "mental disorder" -
or one with a simple character flaw? ( and no jokes about Tom Petty here! lol)

Disorders are covered in abnormal psych.
Defense mechanisms are everyday occurences - not the best way to handle situations- but surely not a disorder.

Freudian psych sees defense mechanisms as a conflict between the id and eqo/superego.
Behavioral psych sees them as poorly used -but normal coping mechanisms
