I suspect that the OP is referring to the comments DeSantis made about controlling the content of what Disney puts out, not the actual land itself that it sits on. It almost sounds like blackmail to me. "You will produce/not produce content that we approve of, or else."

If this happens, clearly it violates the First Amendment, among other things. DeSantis is an idiot. Disney is a huge cash cow for the state, bringing in billions in tourism dollars. Because of the tax revenue from Disney*, FL residents are able to escape having to pay state income taxes. How pleased would the citizens be if DeSantis kills their cash cow and they have to start paying taxes?

Most citizens approve of Social Security, Medicare, and the Veterans Administration, all of which are examples of socialism.
As is the ENTIRE public sector including police, fire, military, and all levels of government.

Your problem, Yak, is that you attempt to communicate while completely clueless as to what words mean.

So where has socialism worked? Where is the evidence that anything you claim is happening is actually happening? This is why leftists are retards.

No, I do not really think its socialism, and I do not believe that a mix of socialism and Capitalism is a bad thing.

A mix of the two has worked very well in almost all modern first world countries. Pure Capitalism and pure socialism is generally a mess... but extremes are like that.

First of all I'm glad we agree socialism is a failure. Second its good to see you acknowledge socialism can't exist without capitalism. There are reasons however that socialism will not work in America and it's not because of capitalism or conservatives.

Capitalism can exist quite nicely without socialism but the opposite is not true. The free market has natural checks and balances
 
Those who don’t care for Capitalism are free to emigrate to Cuba (average wage is 28 dollars per month) or to Venezuela (citizens are leaving their country in search of food).


I don’t know if they allow old drag queens in public though.


Capitalism has lifted more citizens out of poverty and allowed more people to be free than any other system on earth.

2) It doesn't work without capitalism. Some principles of socialism have been employed here but socialism alone never works anywhere.
 
Those who have benefited the most from Capitalism are the ones who whine the most.

They won’t leave America and they eschew the evils of Socialism or Communism.

These people are stupid.
