I disagree. Socialism is an economic system, not government, thus socialism can exist within government, just as it has been doing for decades within the US. Public education, libraries, fire and police departments, public transportation .. just about anything public, all examples of socialism .. I’ve been a socialist for years so I need not be careful of when and how I use socialism which is on the rise in this nation and poses little threat to democracy. I’m a socialist, yet I vote and participate just like everybody else.

They are not the same thing!

THIS IS HOW YOU DIVIDE PEOPLE AND NOT UNITE THEM.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY BERNIE CAN'T WIN AS A DEMOCRAT!

DEMOCRATS BELIEVE IN SOCIAL PROGRAMS- BUT DO NOT BELIEVE IN SOCIALISM AS THAT DOES NOT DESCRIBE OUR SOCIAL PROGRAMS- NOR DOES IT DESCRIBE THE TYPE OF GOVERNMENT AMERICA HAS.

SOCIALISM DEFINES US AS A GOVERNMENT THAT OWNS EVERYTHING- AND THE GOVERNMENT DECIDES WHO GETS WHAT!

Socialism is what the called the FDIC
Socialism is what they called labor unions
The wealthy still find labeling works in those who are not analytical. Universal healthcare is cheaper, it covers everybody. It is more humane.
Our politicians were running on changing the American medical system for several decades , always complaining that the rising costs were bankrupting the country while supplying worse care. Now the time is here are the rightys again fight against their own interests.
Universal care would take the cost of healthcare and managing it off the backs of corporations making them more competitive across the world. Even rightys can figure that out.
