We really need an impartial committee to draw up districts, both parties have been guilty of gerrymandering.
That's what we have here in Michigan. Although the (R)s fought it, we voters passed a proposition in 2018 creating an independent, nonpartisan committee to do redistricting. And now we have an all-(D) majority in both chambers, as well as the governor on down. Amazing what removing gerrymandering can do, eh?
