we know masks work, we know social distancing and masks work even better, and trump never really used his bully pulpit to drive that point home, to try and get all states to follow such a simple plan, so that we could handle and control this virus and not have to go into complete lockdown or shut down schools, because the infection rate was kept below 3% or so.. he railed against more tests!! he said all it did was show we have more infections!! that is the kind of loony tune bullshit most of his voters somehow believed. a lot of them still think the whole damn thing is a hoax!! and a lot of that is because that is basically how trump thinks of it.

You asked what trump did wrong...what does that have to do with anybody else? he is the president. he can lead by example, he should lead by example. so should any democratic leader but that is irrelevant to what TRUMP DID AND DID NOT DO TO CONTAIN THE SPREAD OF THIS VIRUS...HE FAILED MISERABLY.

am massive testing program well that sounds great but we didn't have the test it took time to develop them and fund it, usually done at a state level
