There is zero political talk in the sermons, even if a lot of them support Trump outside the church. Their sermons are all New Testament-based. The pastors are all skilled public speakers. And they really are masters at putting on an inspiring show with really high quality contemporary Christian music performed by excellent musicians with modern instruments, and excellent singers.

As an armchair sociologist, it made me realize why they are out-competing the old mainline Protestant churches. They are just more dynamic, younger, and more energetic.

Agreed. Pure televangelism. The point I'm making is the response of the audience. There's clearly a difference between true Christian believers and political self-servers like MAGAs. While I disagree with the racially-tinged Evangelical movement, I think they truly believe in their religion. The MAGAts are only in it for the money and power.

It one reason why there are cracks in the MAGA wall. A split between those who believe in Jesus and those who believe in the mammon-worshiping minion of Satan in the WH.
