I think I heard that myself, it was the state he was running for governor, they are pretty liberal, so that is what he had to be.

I have distorted feelings about this. I'm happy that he's for gay marriage, for two reasons:
1) I support gay marriage
2) It will hurt his chances of winning Indiana, North Carolina, and possibly Virginia
