This is not just about gender affirming care- so I do not know why it is being framed that way here!

This is about 19 states that are thinking they can legally follow people across their border who seek doctors for abortions and other women's issues- and or transgender issues, and take ownership of all the medical records to use in putting them and the doctors of other states where abortions are legal- in jails and prisons in states where abortions are illegal!

So no this is not just about Tennessee, and it is not just about transgenders! It's a bigger picture than just that!

Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti has joined Republican counterparts in 18 states in an effort to prevent the federal government from shielding the medical records of those who cross state lines to obtain legal abortion or gender-affirming care from investigations in their home state.
